  4. SmallEiffel The GNU Eiffel Compiler is a free Eiffel compiler distributed
  5. under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the
  6. Free Software Foundation. It is intended to be a complete, though small
  7. and very fast, free Eiffel compiler.

  9. It is available for a very wide range of platforms. In fact, SmallEiffel
  10. should run on any platform for which an ANSI C - POSIX compiler
  11. exists.

  13. The current distribution includes an Eiffel to C compiler, an Eiffel to
  14. Java bytecode compiler, a documentation tool, a pretty printer and
  15. various other tools.
